Carlisle Master Plan
Reporting to the Planning Board, Board of Selectmen, and FinCom, the Master Plan Steering Committee (MPSC) manages the master plan process, work plan, schedule and fee estimate. The Master Plan Steering Committee's responsibilities include recommendations on budget requirements, the request for proposal (RFP) process for hiring and procuring a planning consultant, coordination and management of the master plan process and planning consultant. To increase constituent involvement, the Master Plan Steering Committee formed the broader Master Plan Advisory Committee.

The Carlisle Cultural Council is a 5-7 member appointed group of Carlisle residents interested in the arts and support local arts initiatives through a grant award process

Gleason Public Library
The Gleason Public Library was dedicated in May 1896 at the current site at 22 Bedford Road.

The Recreation Commission develops and delivers a selection of fee-based arts & crafts, life skills and fitness programs to residents of all age groups.
