Department of Public Works Renovation

Project History

Managed by the Municipal Facilities Committee (MFC), the Town commissioned a Feasibility Study from Hill-LiRo Corp to analyze improvements that could be made to the Département of Public Works (DPW) facilities. The final report was submitted to the MFC February 20, 2025.

The DPW Building Renovation Committee was appointed by the Select Board January 13, 2026. View the Committee's page for charter and membership information. 

Project Goals

  • Meet current and anticipated safety standards for employees.
  • Accommodate gender equity within the facility.
  • Maximize existing space and only add cost effective space based on needs assessment.
  • Maintain a high level of sustainability in the completion of the project
