Revisiting Gasoline Contamination at Former Daisy's Gas Station:
Evaluation and Update (2025)

A Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) was awarded to the Carlisle Board of Health to fund the review and evaluation of environmental data from the gasoline contamination at the former Daisy’s Market gasoline station (1978 & 1989). AECOM, the environmental consultancy chosen for this project, created the following memo/report for residents and town officials to increase awareness, provide advice on response actions, and provide additional resources.

Containers:  Available for purchase at the Board of Health Office. 

Disposal:  Effective October 1, 2024, the Police Department will no longer accept Sharps for disposal. Carlisle residents may dispose of Sharps (in containers) in Sharps Disposal Bins located in the Bedford, Concord, and Westford Police Stations (open 24/7). Prepaid Mail-Back Sharps Containers may also be purchased online.
