Chief of the Fire Department
About our staffing:
Our staff is predominantly on-call. We are your neighbors who are trained to respond to your emergency needs when you need help. Our on-call model works very well for our town that does not have a fire hydrant system and requires a larger response to fires, but for this to work, we need residents to join our department.
We have approximately 30 members of our department who are part time employees. Some members are Firefighters, some EMTs and some are both. We do EMT training one Wednesday evening a month, and do Fire training two evenings a month. Some members are EMT's some are Firefighters and some perform both functions.
If you have any interest in considering joining our department as an EMT or firefighter, please contact the Fire Chief by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone 978-369-2888, or by stopping by the station during the day.
- To protect the lives and property of the citizens of Carlisle from fires and disasters and to save lives by providing emergency medical services.
- To prevent fires and other emergencies through public education, fire prevention, planning, and code enforcement.
- To maintain the highest possible level of training for the safety of personnel and the public.
- To provide a safe workplace that encourages the professional development of all members.
The members of the Carlisle Fire Department are focused on maintaining the essential values of “caring professionals,” whose goal each day is to help out citizens with our skills, caring, and compassion in times of need and disaster.
