Assessors
The Board of Assessors is responsible for the full and fair market valuation of real and personal property for the purposes of levying the property tax as of January 1st every year.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee, appointed by the Board of Selectmen, considers all fiscal questions and may consider municipal questions at their discretion, for the purpose of making reports or recommendations to the Town.

Long Term Capital Requirements Committee
The function of the Committee is to evaluate the long-term capital requirements of the town—considering each anticipated capital outlay of more than $10,000 for any item having a useful life of more than three years—in order to make recommendations on same and to present a capital requirements program for the next five years at Annual Town Meeting.

Town Accountant
The Town Accountant’s office is responsible for maintaining a complete set of accounting records for the Town in accordance with UMAS (Uniform Massachusetts Accounting System) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.

Treasurer / Tax Collector
The Treasurer/Tax Collector's office is responsible for the billing, collecting and investing of all monies due to the Town including but not limited to-: Real Estate Tax, Personal Property Tax, Motor Vehicle Excise Tax, Federal and State reimbursements and grants, as well as a myriad of Miscellaneous departmental permits, license and fees.
