JOIN THE COMMITTEE
The committee consists of seven members and two associate members who are appointed by the Select Board. Member positions are open to any resident who has an interest in the committee’s purview. The Committee meets remotely twice a month for approximately 1.5 hours.
VOLUNTEER TO ASSIST THE COMMITTEE
Non-member volunteers can assist the committee with specific tasks and projects relating to:
- transitioning to heat pumps and weatherization / electrification of the built environment
- protecting the natural environment (sustainable garden practices, insects, wildlife, chemical alternatives)
- lowering the impact of transportation (walking, bikes, e-bikes EVs,)
- engaging with parents of school age children or students with an interest in the committee’s purview
- creating videos and podcasts
- or any other environmental sustainability issue of choice
