Vacancy: Conservation Restriction Advisory Committee

calling all residents

The Conservation Restriction Advisory Committee (CRAC) is seeking a volunteer to serve on this committee.

CRAC encourages landowners and developers to keep land in its undeveloped state by putting it under a perpetual conservation restriction (CR).  Once land is under CR, the committee or the designated grantee of the CR walks the land periodically to ensure the restriction is being respected.  The committee also helps landowners who  would like to put a CR on their property through the legal processes of approval by the Town and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.

This committee was established by the Board of Selectmen in 1991.  Meetings are generally held once a month from 7:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.  Please send a letter of interest and a resume to, Sylvia Willard, Carlisle Conservation Commission and to Ryan Mclane Town Administrator, 66 Westford St., Carlisle.   If you have any questions you may contact the Conservation Commission office at (978) 369-0336 or email at: swillard@carlislema.gov.

To apply for this vacancy: complete the online application or submit a letter of interest to Gretchen Gallimore, the Executive Assistant to the Select Board, at ggallimore@carlislema.gov or mail to Select Board 66 Westford St., Carlisle, MA 01741
