The Carlisle Race Amity Day committee would like to extend a warm invitation to you and your family to attend the SIXTH annual celebration of Race Amity Day this Sunday June 11th from 1p to 4p. We will continue our tradition of the Potluck Picnic, along with a Poetry Jam featuring local youth; local poets Dana Meyer and Michael Ansara; as well as guests poet/lyricist/rapper Reason Being, and poet/artist Duaa Zahra (https://www.duaazahra.com). There will be music by local band Neighborly and the Carlisle Public School Advanced Choir; games and fun activities for children; and education tables by the Early Act Rotary Club, Williams Be Yourself Challenge (WBYC), Carlisle Youth Social Justice Group (CYSJ), the Environmental Sustainability Committee, and DEICAC among others. And, of course, a bouncy house!
Please feel free to share this invitation with friends and neighbors, and do come join us with a dish of your culture or that you find delicious, a blanket and a smile!
If you would like to volunteer and help set up/clean up or bring anything feel free to sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c044dafa822aafb6-carlisle1#/
