[ARCHIVED] Avoid Late Fees - License Dogs by March 31, 2022

The Office of the Town Clerk will begin charging late fees for dogs licensed after March 31, 2022. The late fee is $25 per household in addition to the licensing fee.

All dogs older than six months must be licensed according to Massachusetts General Law CH 140 §137 and §145B; Carlisle General Bylaw 14.6.2.3 requires annual licensure. Carlisle General Bylaw 14.6.3.6 establishes the $25 late fee and the ability to secure the late fee through the imposition of a municipal charges lien if unpaid.

License fees as follows: Intact - $20; Spayed/Neutered - $15; Kennel 1-4 dogs - $45, Kennel 5-9 dogs - $89, Kennel 10+ dogs - $125
