The Carlisle Senior Tax Worker program has an opening for a Crossing Guard for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are a Carlisle property owner aged 60 or older, or if you live with a Carlisle senior who meets the eligibility requirements, you may participate in the Senior Tax Worker program. This program enables you to offset your property tax bill by up to $1,000 by performing a maximum of 74 hours of work in a 12-month period for a town department, valued at the current minimum wage of $13.50 per hour.
Crossing Guards work 1 hour per day when school is in session and must be comfortable working in variable weather conditions. Hours are 2:15-3:15 pm, and 11:45 am – 12:45 pm on early release days. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity or receiving an application for the program, please contact Joan Ingersoll at the Council on Aging, firstname.lastname@example.org, 978-371-2895.
