The Carlisle Select Board will meet on Tuesday, April 27th at 8:00pm to consider the question whether holding the municipal caucus would constitute a threat to the public health and safety due to the 2019 novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19 such that the Board should vote to eliminate the nominating caucus required for the Annual Town Election as follows:
“Move, pursuant to Section 3 of Ch. 92 of the Acts of 2020 as extended by Section 3 of Ch. 5 of the Acts of 2021, to eliminate the nominating caucus for the 2021 Annual Town Election and to allow nomination papers for candidates for municipal offices signed by at least 10 registered voters of the town be returned between 36 and 32 days prior to the town election, the specific date to be designated by the Town Clerk.”
