NOTICE
BOARD OF SELECTMEN TO CONSIDER REDUCING THE QUORUM REQUIRED
FOR OCTOBER 17, 2020 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
At the Board of Selectmen’s meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 beginning at 7:00pm, the Carlisle Board of Selectmen, in consultation with the Town Moderator, will consider reducing the number of eligible Town residents required to constitute a quorum at the October 17 Special Town Meeting pursuant to the Governor’s March 10, 2020 Declaration of a State of Emergency in Massachusetts, Section 7(a) of Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2020: An Act Relative to Municipal Governance During the COVID-19 Emergency.
The public is invited to comment by joining the meeting, which will be held on the Zoom video platform. The link to the meeting may be obtained by sending an email to townhall@carlislema.gov.
