The Town Clerk is seeking volunteers to serve as poll workers during the General Election. Masks are required. Masks and sanitation supplies will be available to volunteers.
Poll workers assist the Town Clerk and Election Wardens with the business of voting. This includes, but is not limited to, staffing voter check-in and check-out, assisting and instructing voters, directing voters to voting booths, and counting ballots after the polls close. Poll workers may also be asked to help sanitize areas where they’re stationed and voting areas throughout the day.
Poll workers are needed for 2 or 3 hour shifts during In-Person Early Voting and 3 or 4 hour shifts on Election Day (during polling hours and after polls close in order to count ballots).
The General Election will take place at Town Hall on Tuesday, November 3 7AM-8PM; ballots are hand-counted immediately after polls close. All of the ballots must be counted and tallied.
General Election Early Voting will take place at Town Hall Sat October 17 – Friday October 30:
- Sat Oct 17 and Sun Oct 18 2-4PM
- Mon Oct 19 – Thurs Oct 22 10AM-2PM

- Sat Oct 24 and Sun Oct 25 2-4PM
- Mon Oct 26 - Thurs Oct 29 10AM-2PM
