Concord River Water Chestnut Pull
Join us Saturday July 19 from 9am to noon at the Bedford boat launch to pull Water Chestnut on the Concord River. The Environmental Sustainability Committee, the Carlisle Conservation Foundation, and the Organization for the Assabet, Sudbury, and Concord Rivers are joining forces to combat invasive Water Chestnut on the Concord River. Canoes will be provided by Paddle Boston or bring your own canoe, kayak, or rowboat or help from shore. Pulling Water Chestnut improves the habitat for native and endangered species in Carlise's backyard.
