Seeking Korean War Veterans for Peace Medal Honor
Carlisle/Lexington/Bedford Veteran Services Department is looking for Korean War Veterans who serviced in the Republic of Korea from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953. The Republic of Korea has issued an Ambassador for Peace Medal for US Servicemembers to honor and acknowledge their service and sacrifice. If you are a Korean War Veteran or the next-of-kin for the Veteran (next-of-kin can accept the Medal on their behalf), please contact the office. We are planning to have a ceremony to present the medals; updates will be given after documents have been verified for all eligible recipients.
