A reminder that June is Trails Month in Carlisle!
From the Carlisle Trails Committee:
Walking trails offer wonderful opportunities to explore Carlisle’s many conservation lands and enjoy natural habitat. In recognition that the town has over 60 miles of protected public trails that benefit both individual residents and the Town as a whole, that June 1 is National Trails Day, and that walking trails are a treasured resource and important element of Carlisle’s rural character, the Select Board has designated June as Carlisle Trails Month. Trail map books are available at Town Hall, and an interactive Trail Marker Bingo game is available on the Carlisle Conservation Foundation (CCF) website. Prizes will be awarded at CCF’s Old Home Day booth for recording a favorite trail and/or showing a completed Bingo game card. See you on the trails!
