As of May 1, 2024, the cost to charge at the EV chargers behind the Carlisle Public School is now reduced from $0.65/kWh to $0.30/kWh. This is for a limited trial period until June 30th. The Town will observe what changes, if any, occur with usage trends now that the price is competitive with regional prices and the electricity market.
The use of the chargers during this period will be critical to the town’s creation of an EV charging policy that will guide future pricing changes and encourage accessibility.
