Transfer Station sticker requirement will be strictly enforced effective April 1, 2024.
Effective April 1, 2024, a current (2024) transfer station sticker affixed to the vehicle front bumper will be required to enter the Transfer Station. In the past 8 months there has been a significant increase in the solid waste tonnage deposited at the Transfer Station, resulting in increased waste disposal expenses of approximately $ 2,000 per month. It is a long-standing regulation that all residents must have a valid sticker to use the Transfer Station, and it will be enforced by the attendants beginning Tuesday, April 2, 2024. This regulation will be applied equally to all residents in order to prevent unauthorized solid waste disposal.
The DPW staff and Transfer Station Action Committee request that all residents comply with this requirement.
Stickers may be purchased online (https://carlisle.patriotpermitpro.com) or in person during regular business hours Monday-Friday on the second floor at Town Hall.
