Welcome to Carlisle’s information resource page for veterans and their families in our community.
The Veterans’ Services Officer's primary duty is to furnish information, advice, and assistance to veterans and their dependents as may be necessary to enable them to procure the benefits to which they are or may be entitled relative to employment, vocational, or other educational opportunities, hospitalization, medical care, pensions, and other veteran benefits.
It is the mission of the Carlisle Veterans Committee to serve as a resource for Carlisle veterans through outreach and information sharing. We will have an active role with town veteran activities and programs, while advocating on behalf of Carlisle veterans through the local Veterans Service Officer (VSO). The Committee is comprised of Carlisle volunteers who are committed to supporting the well-being of our town’s veterans, members of the armed forces, their dependents, widows, and orphans of deceased veterans.
Carlisle Honor Roll Committee. Since 1885, the Town of Carlisle, Massachusetts has endeavored to recognize and honor our citizens who gave of themselves to fight for the freedoms that we all enjoy. Their willingness to make sacrifices deserves to be noted for future generations. Each Memorial Day, we salute them, we honor them, we thank them.
